Northern Nevada State Veterans Home

The Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (NNSVH) stands distinct with its 96-bed, 102,000 sq. ft. facility. More than skilled care, it feels like home with private rooms, shared living spaces, and numerous amenities. Its 'Town Hall' boasts a bistro, sports bar, gym, and parade grounds, serving as the heart for veteran gatherings. Managed by Avalon Health Care, it operates under the Nevada Department of Veterans Services.

For over 75 years, the Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS) has passionately served Nevada's 250,000 veterans, ensuring they receive the benefits and quality of life they've earned. Beyond offering complimentary benefits counseling and VA claims assistance, NDVS proudly manages both the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home in Sparks and the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City.
